There are quite a bit of technical terms we use day in and day out over here at EXL Films. A great resource for learning the meaning of these terms is in our glossary of definitions page. – Something to consider: when you see a technical word that is highlighted and want to know the meaning, click it and you will be directed straight to it’s definition.
We’re glad you asked. We were always interested in this particular style of things: the cool blue, sharp edged, caution like slash marks. We feel it presents a raw sense of danger as well as strategy and tactics. We would compare the branding of EXL Films to a highly trained Swat Team, who’s goal is to arrive on the site, scope out the area, strategically execute the plan at hand, and leave the site with the mission accomplished. In many ways, this is how a film set operates and like a Swat team we use tactical like equipment, operate through strategic planning and execution of shots and scenes, and experience the rush of adrenaline when we know we only have one chance at getting the right shot. It is all very exciting.
