EXL Films offers Jimmy Jib camera crane services to productions in Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey and other locations including Whistler, Abbotsford, and Vancouver Island. The jib crane is a perfect accessory for achieving a new class of shots for music videos, concerts, plays, live performances, commercials, documentaries, reality shows and feature films.

When you hire the Jib crane for your production both an operator and head technician from EXL Films will arrive at your location and fully assemble the jib. A setup time of 2.5 hours is required to fully assemble the jib arm and remote head, and check camera configuration.

The Jimmy Jib Crane arm length can be configured at 6, 12, 18, 24, & 30 feet and can support video and film cameras up to 50lbs. At 30 feet, the jib can achieve a maximum height of 33 feet off the ground. The Jimmy Jib’s remote head can be configured in either low-mode (under slung) or high-mode (over slung). We have full control of the pan/tilt, start/stop, focus, iris, and zoom.
