Race the base is a once in a lifetime event where car owners have the opportunity to top speed their cars. Some cars will be able to reach speeds of over 300km/h and beyond. With over $10 million dollars worth of high end super cars, military presence and CF18 fighter jets it is almost as crazy as something out of a movie. This promotional video trailer shows the excitement of the Race the Base event.
By far this is one of the craziest events I have ever shot! When you get to race around the 4 kilometer runway strip with a camera crew and a jimmy jib camera crane mounted to the back of a truck you begin to realize what an awesome opportunity this is.
