At EXL Films we offer event videography services in Vancouver. An event video can range from business awards shows, live seminars, sporting events, dance recitals, concerts and practically anything else. There is a great benefit to having your event videotaped by a professional videographer. Your event video can be distributed to a number of sources including Dvds for distribution to participants, on Youtube for future customers and clients, and on your website. If you have an event coming up you should consider having it captured. If you have any questions about event videography and our event videography services please contact us for more details.
The Burnaby Board of Trade is one of our long term clients. We produce a number of event videos, seminars and documentaries for them. The Burnaby Board of Trade has found that video is a valuable tool in order to get their message across and tell a story at the same time. Through speaking with them, they mentioned that the reason they like our approach to producing videos for them is that we incorporate a dramatic story telling format. This story telling format includes a beginning, middle and end. Sometimes if we do not include a definite ending it means we are sending out a call to action to people who are watching the videos.
Below are two videos we produced for the Burnaby Board of Trade. These videos are part of the WICWP Project (Welcoming and Inclusive Communities and Work Places) The WICWP project digs deep into the issues of immigrant integration in British Columbia. The dilemma is that highly trained and highly skilled immigrants are arriving in Canada with qualifications from their own country. Many of these immigrants studied at some of the top universities in their country but there are many barriers which prevent them from entering the workforce. Still today many immigrants are working “survival jobs” in order to get by.
