Race the Base Event Wrapped

We just finished shooting the Race the Base event in Cold Lake. With 4 Cameras, a crane car with Jimmy Jib and 1000mm lenses we captured some amazing footage which we will used to produced the Race the Base Movie Dvd. Here are some pictures from the shoot. (most of them are from the crane car because it was one of the coolest production tools!)

The Zahir Rana Documentary

We are currently in Calgary Alberta shooting a documentary about self-made entrepreneur Zahir Rana of ZR Auto Sales and his passion for super cars. We are shooting interviews and day-in-the-life type footage through until Thursday in Calgary. Our crew will head east later in the week to continue video coverage in Cold Lake and the Canadian Forces Base. Zahir currently holds the title of owning the Fastest Ferrari Enzo in the world. He intends to show Canada and the world what his Ferrari Enzo can do at Race the Base: One the of the hottest super car events this year.

The Documentary about Zahir Rana will be aired on Omni Television in 2011. Check back to the automotive section of our news page for future updates.

Super Cars Race Top Speed in August

Come to Cold Lake, Alberta on August 27th and 28th to be a part of this year’s hottest event: Race the Base Weekend. Car Shows and Automotive Show Video Production

If your company is participating in a car and automotive trade show then you may be interested in reading this: Over the past 7-years we have produced countless hours of video content for our Mini, Miata, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Porsche clients. The videos have ranged from 30-second car commercials to 2-minute automotive promotional videos to 30-minute and 1-hour long car club event videos.

Through videotaping for our sports car and super car clients we have gathered rich and exciting video content that they used to distribute practically everywhere in order to promote their car companies, modification companies, and car clubs. The possibilities for promoting are endless, but one of the most popular ways of promotion we found took it’s role in online video distribution and DVD distribution. A popular place for showcasing these videos and distributing them were at car shows and automotive trade shows. Think about it: Hundreds of car enthusiasts gather from everywhere to check out what’s new and what’s hot in the automotive world and when they walk by your booth you have a 52-inch LCD TV playing exciting video footage of your cars in action. At the same time you can give out extended Dvd’s at your booth which really give your potential customers the impact that they will remember. The videos you display can give your potential customers the taste and excitement of what your cars can do and what your company is all about. The videos can also display statistics, news, and important information relating to what you think is important to present. Sounds like a good idea? We are just getting started!

Below is a video that ZR Exotic Auto Sales of Calgary Alberta used to promote their Exotic 1000 Horsepower Lamborghini at the SEMA Automotive Show in Las Vegas. The videos purpose was to showcase the power and stats of ZR Auto’s cars and also present the lifestyle of owning a super car. It was also used to showcase a race between the 1000HP Lamborghini Gallardo VS a 707HP Ferrari F430 Novitec. The result was entertaining.

Race the Base

We have produced a television commercial for ZR Exotic Auto Sales promoting the “Race the Base” event in Cold Lake, Alberta. Race the Base is a charity event that invites supercar and sportscar owners to race their Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis or any other fast cars on the Canadian Airforce runway strip. Drivers can acheive their top speed and push their car to the limit without worrying about police, speeding tickets and the danger other cars or obstables on the road. The event finale will be when Zahir Rana races his modified Enzo Ferrari FXX against the Canadian Airforce CF-18 fighter jet. Stay tuned to our news page for more updates.

Supercar Saleen S7 Busted during Filming

During the Montreal Grand Prix weekend, Supercar Saleen S7 owner Dan Echino wanted to show us what his Saleen S7 was capable of. Shortly into our adventure and after a few engine revs, the Montreal police were on our tail. We thought that they were putting their police lights and sirens on for pure effect for the camera. (Maybe they wanted to contribute to a Need for Speed high stake chase scene kind of effect so we wouldn’t have to spend any money in post-production) Later after a few minutes of disobeying the law, Danny Echino pulled over and we found out that this was not the case.

Ferrari Videography

We have just finished shooting a 10-day Ferrari trip across Atlantic Canada from Halifax to Montreal. The trip was organized by ZR Exotic Auto Sales in Calgary and it was definitely new scenery and territory to the participants. ZR Exotic Auto Sales contracts us a several times a year to videotape their organized drives. Throughout the drive we shoot video of all the participants, their cars, the scenery and towns and produce a DVD that preserves the all memories of each trip. We also use the footage captured to edit promotional material for ZR Auto’s website and commercials for TV. Having a film crew along for an event definitely takes some getting use to but in short time everyone forgets that we are there. Stay tuned for a teaser trailer of the ZR Atlantic trip
