Hello Everyone. Errol here from EXL Films. Well I just want to check in and write briefly about the Ferrari shoot we did at the Mission Raceway. It was a fantastic shoot and to have the opportunity to film not to mention race around the track (as a passenger) in the new Ferrari FF (Ferrari Four) was certainly an honor. The Ferrari FF was released on March 1^st 2011 so in the car world that is pretty new to have the opportunity of seeing such a car. It is Ferrari’s first 4-wheel drive car and it handles like mad around the track. I sat in the front seat with the camera while Gabriel, my second shooter sat in the back. It is interesting to use the words “Ferrari” and “Backseat” together since most only have two seats, but then again that is another reason why this crazy car is different! Going around the corner was literally like riding a roller coaster. The G-force was huge and it felt like our camera was going to fly out the window. Luckily it didn’t.

It was a full day shoot at the track and our mission was twofold:

1. To capture footage of the track day and put together a video showing the spirit and excitement of the event hosted by Ferrari Maserati of Vancouver, and
2. To capture dramatic and cinematic footage of the new Ferrari FF and transform it into a classy yet suspenseful and dramatic promotional video.
